With only 4 weeks left of the season, perhaps like us you’re already thinking of your summer holiday?! The past summers in France have been balmy with temperatures hitting 30 degrees and higher. The sun drenched mountains are perfect for hiking and mountain biking (Petit Mont Blanc has so many biking trails right on its door step). Our chalets in Serre Chevalier and catered chalets Vallandry are set in the most picturesque locations, with plenty of outdoor activities on offer. Whether you’re looking for an adrenaline packed holiday with kayaking, rock climbing, zip lining and paragliding (the list is endless!), or simply want to relax with mountain views while taking a dip in one of the many open-air bio pools, there’s something for everyone in the French Alps.
This summer, B&B breaks will be back throughout July and August in Vallandry and Serre Chevalier. Julie, Dave and Christine are looking forward to giving you all a warm welcome. Escape for a long weekend (3 nights) for just £49 per person, or stay a little longer for 7 nights for £99 per person (based on 2 sharing).
Le Tour de France route passes through Bourg-Saint-Maurice to Alpe d’Huez, which isn't far from our lodge in Serre Chevalier. Avoid the crowds and stay with us during the race. You'll only be a short drive from the track, or if you bring your bike, a challenging but beautiful ride away.
