What a season we've had!

The lifts have closed and most of our team have jet setted away for a well deserved holiday. End of season is always bittersweet for us as we say goodbye to our final guests. There is still snow on the ground across the French Alps – just enough to ski on, so we’ve been spoilt with a few days skiing all to ourselves.

This past season has been a busy one with better than expected powder conditions, so roll on Ski 2019/20! We've had so many season highlights including the Serre Che Grand Prix, tobogganing with guests and twilight skiing... sunbathing on deckchairs while snow was still on the ground, and our hosts at Le Petit Sport, Dave and Christine, have welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the Serre Chevalier team.

In the meantime we’re in summer planning mode. Our ski boots will be replaced by hiking boots and we can’t wait for the weather to really sizzle so we can enjoy a BBQ on the terrace with a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Most resorts re-open their lifts at the end of June or beginning of July. Read on below to find out what our best bits from the 2018/19 season were. We'd love to see your season highlights, so please do share them with us on our Facebook page here.

Once spring hits, the slopes become a little quieter and the landscape comes alive with nature. The days are longer, and on some days we even indulged in some sunbathing!!

We had some fantastic fancy dress entries this year with guests dressing up from the Wild West on New Year's Eve!

Every Thursday is French Night - a good excuse to get your beret and stripey tops on! Guests excelled last season with their moustaches, baguettes and garlic garlands.

On some days we met guests for some twilight skiing - this time of the day is just magical.

We've had some beautiful sunsets!

Our luge team at the ready - this was in April! Take a look at that snow.

Last, but not least... our final guests of the season!

If you're craving a skiing holiday, check out our Early Bird offer - hurry, you must book before 31st May to take advantage of low rates. In the meantime, how does a balmy summer in the French Alps sound? The Alps aren't just for Winter of course!!

Summer bookings now OPEN!

Escape to the French Alps for some summer sun, beautiful mountain views, fine wine and local cuisine. Whether you're an adventure seeker looking for a hiking, biking, sailing or climbing holiday, the Savoie region of France has plenty to offer.

For those days when you just want to kick back and relax, experience the local spas, natural swimming pools or a long lunch, French style you really are spoilt for choice. Don't forget that the Tour de France passes through Bourg St Maurice in July, making our Vallandry chalet the perfect base to watch all the race action.

B&B available from July-September from £49 per person. Contact us for more details about staying in Serre Chevalier or Les Arcs.

We just wanted to say, we had the most marvellous time in the Mont Blanc recently. We were very happy in the Petit Mont Blanc Annexe & the staff were absolutely fantastic. They all went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic holiday.

The staff were more like friends than employees and knew the area very well. Can't fault them. They sorted an issue with my wife's ski pass with as little stress as was possible. To start your day of skiing one had only to walk about 20m from the door, pop your skis on and off you go. You could eit...
