So, in no particular order, here’s five tasty places to head to once you’ve finished shredding it on the mountain!
Offering a host of classic French food that comes at the highest standard, this awesome restaurant’s inside a beautiful old building which sits ideally just across the piste from the Hucksters chalet. You’re in for Savoyard gastronomy at its most delicious! Carve your way down to the terrace for lunch and a few après ski drinks, or for the loved-up couples; enjoy the cosy dining room for a special dinner one evening.
The La Coeur de Vall gives you nothing short of excellent French dining but with a modern twist. Centrally located in the village next to Sherpa (the local supermarket), there’s an enticing terrace for lunch complete with a view that looks down the valley. The bright and modern dining room here is one of the most popular places to get something to eat, so atmosphere is a sure bet, but so is having to book a table. A special meal, that won’t disappoint!
L’Adress makes our list with ease, and you’ll see why when you visit. There’s superb pizza on offer, and a Savoyard menu too. L’Adress has some of the most impressive prices on the mountain, which, paired with its central location in the village beside the Vallandry lift, means you should definitely be paying this place a visit while you’re here! Another prime location for terrace lunches and decent après ski drinks, as well as takeaway pizzas too, if you fancy one. The friendly staff help to make L’Adress a hit for visitors, so booking a table is advisable if you’re keen on heading for lunch or dinner here.
A cool place to check out that’s known to never let the taste buds down thanks to its fantastic range of savoury and sweet crêpes, traditional Savoyard options, including of fondue, raclette and pierrades. If there’s a few of you tearing up the slopes, then Chez Felix’s large sociable dining area might be a good place to go and grab a few drinks and something to eat. Fancy a drink before or after eating, or maybe a swifty before heading back to the chalet before dinner then the bar in Chez Felix is ideally located as it’s just five minutes’ walk from our chalet!
The Bar Mont Blanc is a renowned place for visitors to go to with its scrumptious menu, filled with a range of pizzas and burgers, as well as lots of other things to fill you up before the partying starts!
